Inspiration

Built from a shared love of coffee and beer, this porter was created to bring the ritual of a great morning coffee into a pint, without the heaviness often associated with darker styles.

Brewed in collaboration with Little Rebel Coffee Roastery in Dromana, it showcases a fresh Brazilian single-origin coffee added and packaged immediately to preserve its full character.

As the weather cools along the coast, this is the kind of beer made for slower mornings, longer afternoons and evenings that drift on a little further than planned. Smooth, balanced and genuinely drinkable.

Tasting Notes

A smooth, robust porter led by expressive coffee character, opening with aromas of espresso, dark chocolate and caramel. The palate layers roasted coffee over soft malt sweetness, backed by notes of toasted hazelnut, cocoa and a subtle touch of brown sugar.

Oats round out the body, giving it a smooth, creamy texture without becoming heavy. Balanced bitterness from roasted malts and Fuggles hops carries through to a clean, dry finish with lingering coffee richness.

Full-flavoured yet approachable, it drinks with the ease of a great long black on a cool coastal morning.
